SCL Does It Again!
SCL are delighted to have attained Exemplar Site Status for the Patient and Retail Catering Services at the University Hospital North Durham following an assessment by Tim Radcliffe, Net Zero Food Programme Manager, NHS England.
Following a competitive market testing process SCL became the service provider for Hotel Services on the University Hospital North Durham site in July 2023. Over the past 18 months the Catering Team have made a number of service improvements to the service offered to our patients, staff and visitors.
Exemplar Site status recognises the excellent work the team undertake take 365 days a year, under the leadership of Stuart Wray, Head of Facilities (Catering, Retail & Food Safety) to provide safe, nutritious food and hydration to our patient’s, staff and visitors.
