NHS EXEMPLAR SITE PROGRAMME

SCL applied for “Exemplar Site” status for both Catering Services at Darlington Memorial Hospital and the University Hospital of North Durham, and site assessments were carried out by Tim Radcliffe, Net Zero Food Programme Manager, and NHS England.

The assessments have now been completed and “Exemplar Site” status was awarded to Darlington Memorial Hospital in July 2024, and to the University Hospital of North Durham in November 2024.

“Exemplar Site” status recognises the excellent work that the Catering Services undertake 365 days a year.

Following a rigorous reassessment by the SGS group in May 2024, Synchronicity Care Ltd were re-awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification of its management systems.
