Strategic Priorities
As a wholly owned subsidiary of County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, our purpose is clear: to deliver high-quality, efficient and professional estates, facilities and procurement services that support safe, compassionate and joined-up care for our patients and communities.
Since our establishment in 2017, our dedicated teams have played a vital role in ensuring that clinical services can operate safely, effectively and efficiently. From maintaining critical infrastructure and medical equipment, to providing essential support services and delivering value through procurement, our people make a significant contribution to patient care every day.
The healthcare environment continues to evolve, bringing new opportunities and challenges. Increasing demand, financial pressures, technological advancement, sustainability requirements and workforce expectations require us to continually adapt and improve. This strategy sets out how we will respond over the next three years and continue to provide services that our colleagues, patients and partners can rely upon.
Our strategy is built around four key areas of focus:

These priorities reflect our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance, while embracing innovation, supporting our workforce and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our services.
Success will be achieved through collaboration. By working closely with County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, our partners and stakeholders, we will continue to improve services, develop our people and create modern, sustainable environments that support outstanding patient care.
