These behind-the-scenes heroes work tirelessly around the clock — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — to ensure our hospitals and healthcare sites are safe, clean, efficient, and fully operational. Their efforts directly impact the care we provide, supporting our patients, staff, and visitors every single day.

From maintaining critical infrastructure, keeping our environments safe and hygienic, ensuring access to essential supplies, to delivering meals, managing waste, and securing the sites — their work is fundamental to the smooth running of our services and the wellbeing of everyone who walks through our doors.

As we marked this national day of recognition, we extended our deepest thanks to every individual working across Estates, Facilities, and Procurement. Their professionalism, resilience, and commitment form the backbone of our healthcare service. They are valued, appreciated, and absolutely essential to everything we do.
